Crop Over is a popular festival celebrated in Barbados, a Caribbean island nation. It is the largest and most anticipated cultural event in Barbados, attracting both locals and tourists from around the world. Crop Over traditionally marks the end of the sugarcane harvest season, and it has evolved into a vibrant and colorful celebration of Bajan culture, music, and heritage.

Key Occasions is ready for the festivities, will you be joining us?

The climax of Crop Over is the Grand Kadooment parade, which takes place on the first Monday in August. Participants dress in vibrant costumes adorned with feathers, sequins, and other elaborate decorations. They dance through the streets to the pulsating rhythms of soca music, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere. The parade ends at the Spring Garden Highway, where revelers continue to celebrate well into the night.

Crop Over is not only a time for celebration but also an opportunity to embrace Bajan traditions and cultural heritage. It showcases the creativity, talent, and diversity of Barbadians through music, dance, fashion, and culinary arts. The festival is a major economic driver for the island, attracting visitors from all over the world and boosting tourism.

Security/Initial Deposit - Due when securing the reservation

Payment PLAN:

Once you secure your reservation with your non-refundable security deposit and/or trip payment, we’ll calculate an evenly divided billing plan for you.  Your initial deposit is due at the time of booking, and your future payments will be due according to the proposed schedule you see on your invoice.  The payment schedule is flexible, except for the final payment.  You may make payments as often and in the amounts that you so desire up until your final payment due date.  At the time of the final payment due date, all outstanding funds are due to prevent cancellation of your vacation package (funds that were previously paid are not refundable if the final payment is late or not submitted).  Payments are processed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays of each week; therefore, you will need to keep this in mind when submitting your payments (ex. if your final payment due date falls on a Thursday, you will want to make sure you submit your payment on the Wednesday prior).

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

  • Missing a vacation is bad enough. Losing the money you paid for your vacation is even worse. Not having medical coverage in the case of an injury is even worse.  Trip insurance is therefore recommended, and you will receive a personalized quote via email from Key Occasions, LLC.

  • You can also purchase travel insurance on your own.

 
TRAVEL NOTES:

  • Traveling abroad require a passport valid for six months beyond travel dates. For this tour, your passport should not expire before February 6, 2025.​

  • At check-in, a credit card will be required for check-in to cover anticipated room incidentals.

 

TERMS & POLICIES

  • Making reservations for this package signifies your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.

  • All of your payments to Key Occasions, LLC are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Reservations must be made in your FULL NAME as it appears on your Passport and/or government-issued identification

  • Prices are subject to change without notice. Please make your reservations today at this low price to be locked in

  • Monthly payments are required to keep your reservations current. Your invoice will clearly note your payment plan. We suggest you put this payment plan on your personal calendar.

  • You must ensure your roommate, if applicable, is also making timely monthly payments.

  • Name changes are allowed with a $50 name change fee.  Please note that some Suppliers charge additional name change fees, and these additional charges are at the discretion of individual Travel Supplier(s).

  • A late payment fee of $100 per person is required if payments are submitted after the final due date.

  • Management must approve all late payment requests before the final payment date on your account.
